a letter from
I didn’t start American Made Beef because the world needed another beef company. I started it because something felt off.
Some of my earliest memories are on the ranch— riding alongside my dad, watching him study cattle, talk through bloodlines, and make decisions that would shape generations of our herd. For over 30 years, he’s been relentlessly focused on producing elite Red Angus genetics, with a level of discipline and precision that most people will never see, but absolutely taste. I had a front-row seat to that standard growing up. Every detail mattered. Every decision had a purpose. There were no shortcuts or no cutting corners, solely a commitment to doing things the right way no matter how long it took. That shaped how I see this industry and how I see business.
We know exactly where our beef comes from, because we’ve spent decades building it, generation after generation. If we wouldn’t feed it to our own family, we won’t send it to yours. I realized not everyone was getting access to beef raised like this.
Somewhere along the way, we lost the connection between the people raising our food and the families feeding theirs. Quality became inconsistent. Transparency disappeared. And the ranchers who have spent generations doing this the right way started getting pushed out by systems that reward scale over standards.
American Made Beef is my answer to that.
We’re building something that reconnects the entire chain— from our ranch, to your table.
The genetics. The raising of the cattle. The way your beef is selected, prepared, and delivered. Every step matters— because you matter. When you order from us, you’re not just buying beef. You’re backing American ranchers. You’re investing in higher standards. You’re choosing to know where your food comes from again. And for me, this is bigger than business.
This is about legacy– honoring the generations before us who built this way of life, and making sure it still exists for the generations after us.
We’re just getting started.
And I’m grateful you’re here to be part of it.

American Made Beef was built on a simple belief:
You should know exactly where your food comes from—and trust the people behind it. We’re not a middleman. We’re not a marketing company sourcing from who-knows-where. We are a family rooted in over a century of American agriculture, raising cattle with intention, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to quality.
Our beef starts with elite Red Angus genetics, developed and refined through decades of hands-on ranching experience at Lautenschlager & Sons. Every animal represents generations of careful breeding, land stewardship, and pride in doing things the right way, not the easy way.
From pasture to plate, we focus on what matters:
-
Exceptional genetics
-
Responsible, ethical ranching practices
-
Premium, carefully curated cuts
-
A direct connection between rancher and consumer
In a world where food systems are increasingly industrialized and disconnected, American Made Beef is bringing it back to what it should be: real food, raised by real people, for real families. We exist to serve those who value quality, transparency, and supporting American producers—while building a stronger, more resilient food system for the future.
This isn’t just beef.
This is a return to American standards.
